Welcome to Wendy Wanders.
I'm so pleased you've found me.
I've always believed that life is about creating beautiful things and making wonderful memories. Whether that's through travel, art, photography or simply spending time in nature, I've never been very good at sitting still!
Creativity has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I love painting, creating resin art, capturing photographs and telling stories. Those passions led me to create Kallisae Arts, where I create artwork and, more recently, fine art photography inspired by the places I visit.
Over time, I realised I wasn't just collecting photographs—I was collecting stories.
That's how Wendy Wanders was born.
It's my place to share Britain's hidden gems, beautiful places to stay, honest travel guides and the little moments that often become the biggest memories.
Alongside Wendy Wanders, I'm also creating Woodfin Travel. Coming soon, it will become a place where you'll be able to book some of my favourite holiday cottages, lodges, motorhome-friendly stays and unique places to escape to.
Together, the three brands tell one story.

My Story
I grew up in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, surrounded by castles, coastlines and rolling landscapes. Looking back, I think that's where my love of exploring first began.
After many years helping others create wonderful holidays, life took me in a new direction. I bought my motorhome, Nancy, packed up my two Cocker Spaniels, Gracie and Sasha, and set off to discover Britain one adventure at a time.
Today, Wendy Wanders is where I share the places that inspire me—hidden beaches, peaceful campsites, beautiful walks and unforgettable views. Along the way you'll also find honest reviews, photography and the little moments that often become the best memories.
Although Gracie is no longer by my side, she'll always be part of every adventure. Now it's just Sasha and me, continuing the journey together.
Alongside Wendy Wanders, I continue creating Kallisae Arts, inspired by the places I visit, and I'm building Woodfin Travel with my son Josh to help others find unique places to stay.
Everything I recommend is somewhere I've explored myself. My hope is simple—to inspire you to slow down, discover somewhere new and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
